These terms cover the use of ckelectricandsons.com and set expectations for work performed by CK Electric and Sons.

The business

CK Electric and Sons operates under California contractor license #354550, classification C-10 (Electrical), held by Clyde Kent Farmer and licensed as C K Electric. The license carries the state-required $25,000 contractor's bond (American Contractors Indemnity Company). You can verify the license at cslb.ca.gov.

Content here is provided for information. Service descriptions are general; the work actually performed is whatever is agreed in your specific written quote.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are written and line-itemed — material and labor separated — before work starts. A quote covers the scope described in it. If the scope changes once work is underway (hidden damage, a different fixture, an opened wall that tells a different story), the change is discussed and re-priced before it is carried out. No work gets added to your bill without you agreeing to it first.

Permits and inspection

Work that requires a permit gets one, and the inspection is handled as part of the job. We do not perform permitted work without the permit.

Workmanship

If something we installed is not right, tell us and we come back and make it right. The commitment covers our workmanship on work we were paid to do; it does not cover new faults elsewhere in the system, normal wear, or damage caused by others.

Scheduling

Work is by appointment. Material availability, utility coordination and inspection schedules can move a date; you will be told as early as possible if that happens.
